Business Customers & VAT

Business-to-Business (B2B) Orders

If you're ordering as a VAT-registered business:

  1. EU Businesses (outside UK):

    • Provide a valid EU VAT number during checkout
    • If validated, VAT will be reverse-charged (0% VAT)
    • Your business will account for VAT in your country
  2. UK Businesses:

    • UK VAT will be charged regardless of VAT status
    • You can reclaim this VAT through your normal VAT return
    • VAT invoice will be provided for your records
  3. Non-EU Businesses:

    • No UK or EU VAT will be charged
    • Local tax rules in your country will apply

Requesting VAT Invoices

All orders automatically receive a standard receipt. For a VAT invoice:

  1. During Checkout:

    • Select "I require a VAT invoice" option
    • Enter your business name and VAT number (if applicable)
  2. After Purchase:

    • Email accounting@matchmint.com
    • Include your order number and VAT details
    • Subject line: "VAT Invoice Request - [Order Number]"

VAT invoices will be provided within 2 business days of request.

VAT Exemptions

Certain customers may be exempt from VAT:
