Account Login & Password Reset
Managing your MatchMint account is easy once you know how. This guide will help you log in to your account and reset your password if needed.
Logging In to Your Account
Standard Login Process
- Visit the MatchMint website at www.matchmint.com
- Click on the "Account" or "Login" button in the top-right corner
- Enter your email address and password
- Click "Log In" to access your account
Social Media Login (If Available)
If you created your account using a social media platform:
- Click on the "Account" or "Login" button
- Select the social media platform you used to create your account:
- "Continue with Google"
- "Continue with Facebook"
- "Continue with Apple"
- Complete the authentication process on the selected platform
- You'll be automatically redirected back to MatchMint and logged in
Forgotten Password
If you can't remember your password, don't worry! You can easily reset it:
Password Reset Process
- Go to the login page
- Click on "Forgot Password?" or "Reset Password" link below the login form
- Enter the email address associated with your account
- Click "Send Reset Link"
- Check your email inbox for a message from MatchMint
- Also check your spam/junk folder if you don't see it
- Click the password reset link in the email (valid for 24 hours)
- Create a new password following our security requirements:
- At least 8 characters long
- Include at least one uppercase letter
- Include at least one number or special character
- Confirm your new password
- Click "Reset Password"
- You'll be automatically logged in with your new password
Troubleshooting Common Login Issues
"Invalid Email or Password" Error
If you receive this error:
- Double-check that you're using the correct email address
- Ensure your password is entered correctly (check caps lock)
- Try the "Forgot Password" option to reset your password
"Account Not Found" Error
This means we don't have an account with the email address you entered:
- Check for typos in your email address
- Try any other email addresses you might have used
- You may need to create a new account if you haven't registered before
Password Reset Email Not Arriving
If you don't receive the password reset email:
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Add support@matchmint.com to your contacts/safe senders list
- Wait 15 minutes (emails can sometimes be delayed)
- Try requesting another reset email
- Try using a different email provider if possible
Account Locked
After multiple failed login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked:
- Wait 30 minutes before trying again
- Use the password reset option to regain access
- Contact customer support if you continue to have issues
Creating a New Account
If you don't have an account yet:
- Click on "Account" or "Login" in the top-right corner
- Select "Create Account" or "Register"
- Enter your email address and create a password
- Fill in your name and any other required information
- Click "Create Account"
- Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
Managing Multiple Accounts
We recommend using a single account for all your orders, but if you have multiple accounts:
- Use different email addresses for each account
- Keep track of which email address you used for each order
- Consider consolidating your orders under one account (contact support for assistance)
Account Security Best Practices
To keep your MatchMint account secure:
- Use a unique, strong password
- Don't share your login credentials
- Log out when using shared or public computers
- Update your password periodically
- Keep your contact information current
